We are currently seeking a Yield Enhancement Engineer to join the growing team at our Orem, UT facility!
Duties:
1) Candidate will be a member of the Optics Process Engineering Team.
2) Documentation of experiments and investigations will be published per Moxtek standards
3) Primary focus will be on visual defect reduction and visual yield enhancement of optics processes.
a. Ownership of visual defect reduction and yield enhancement systems.
b. Ownership of defect monitoring equipment and operating systems.
c. Visual defect system support for continuous improvement
d. Implement statistical process control including control charts and OCAP's for defect reduction systems.
e. Determine best practices for defect reduction and clean room protocol.
f. Trouble-shoot and implement solutions for defect reduction and clean room improvement.
4) Support the effort to manufacture Optics products with less visual defects and enhanced yield.
a. New equipment and process evaluations with defect reduction focus.
b. Defect reduction compatibility requirements with current systems
Qualifications:
- B.S.; M.S.; or PhD in engineering discipline or science related field
- 5+ years’ experience in fabrication manufacturing such as semiconductor or optics related industry
- 2+ years of defect reduction or yield enhancement experience preferred
- Preferred Skills: Statistical process Control, Design of Experiments, & Advanced Problem Solving
