Job Description Working Foreman (WF) is a first line supervisory position that performs the same duties as an Operator-Field Service position and is also responsible for supervision of a work crew assigned to a specific job/shift. This position is usually works at a customer job site but may also be assigned related duties in a branch. WF has a similiar role to a construction working foreman and is responsible for supervising the work crew to meet the assigned task/job. The WF has primary safety responsibility for Godwin crew and any personnel assisting in the setup, pump watch, or teardown. The WF is available for on-call off-hours assignments as necessary for emergencies. When not working on job sites, this person would be assgined functions that include the person's skills in shop/yard as they are qualified.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



Safely set-up and tear-down Godwin pumping equipment as necessary and maintain orderliness of job site, including compliance with all Godwin Pumps and customer safet rules/practices.



Perform daily visual inspections of equipment and job site and document any intems in need of service. WF expected to perform routine maintenance on pumps and diesel equipment.



Communicate with Superintendent and Project Manager/Operations Coordinator regularly.



Perform all field documentation (e.g., work orders, rental-related documents, field sertvice contracts, change orders).



Plan and execute moderate to large size jobs consistent with bid/quote and direction from Superintendent or Project Manager/Operations Coordinator.



WF is capable of mechanical startup and checkout of large projects.



QUALIFICATIONS



Working knowledge of Godwin Pumps' rental equipment and accessories.



Proficient in Godwin Pumps' workflow associated with loading/unloading equipment and field service work.



Ability to safely operate diesel poweres and fusion equipment for which the person is qualified.



WF is compentent in all OFS duties with the following skills/certifications:



Possess or able to obtain a CDL A and applicable endorsements (preferred).

Fusion certified for pipe 18" or more (required).

Possess or able to obtain a crane operator certicate (preferred).

Capable of using laptop computer in field conditions without assistance.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Minimum Requirements



High School diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrate performance in supervising setup crews and working cooperatively with multiple entities (e.g. customer engineer, owner, neighbors).

Demonstrated competence in managing the logistics of larger projects to avoid delsys and extra charges tied to equipment and material delivery



Specialized Knowledge Required -



Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Foreklift certification and CDL A preferred.

Meet and continuously maintain authroization to operate a company vehicle based on requirements of Godwin Pumps Vehicle Rules, Use, Authorization & Motor Vehicle Report Program.

Godwin Pumps Safety program, especially job site hazard assessment and safety plans.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS



Heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds).

Full range of phyiscal motions associatesd with general labor and equipment operation work continually throughout work shift to 14 hours, and longer with approval of their supervisor.

Ability to safely operate a company vehicles,equipment, and fusion machines continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per day and cumulative throughout an entire work shift.



WORK ENVIRONMENT



Yard and Field Job site: Continual exposure to all outdoor weather conditions; exposure to noise and fumes generated from motorized equipment; extended work shifts up to 12 hours, rotating between day and night shifts.

Travel: As required to fulfill the duties listed below. Travel is expected at least 50%-70% of the time or more depending on work requirements, assignments generally being at least two week minimum. Other travel as needed or required by the company.



In addition to the above, the performance of other related duties may be required.
