Weight & Balance Technical Analyst 2
Apply knowledge of engineering, aircraft and airlines to develop weight and Center of Gravity (CG) data to support the configuration and delivery of commercial airplanes. Main responsibilities will include calculating individual option weights and CGs, and compiling and tracking customer airplane weights. Support processes and products such as Detail Specifications, Configuration Specifications, Standard Selections catalogs, customer performance guarantee compliance, and customer sales activities.
This position requires close contact with the Customer Engineering, the Sales and Marketing community and airline customers. The ideal candidate is someone who can thoroughly understand the customer option selection process, focusing on ensuring weight option accuracy on Airline Customers and ™ Detailed Specifications. It will also require close contact with other airplane programs for process standardization. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly productive, works well independently and is also a good team player, learns new skills quickly, and is flexible and adaptable to change.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have 2 years or more experience working in the aviation industry?

Do you have a minimum of 1 year experience interfacing between customers, technical teams and managing projects?
Typical Education/Experience
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Must be proficient in the use of a PC, specifically Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Advanced Excel skills are desirable. Understanding of weight and center of gravity concepts is desired. Requires excellent teaming and communication skills. Must have a high degree of organization skills. Strong communication skills, particularly writing skills with an emphasis on correct grammar, are required.
