Job Type :Full Time Career Level :Experienced (Non-Manager) Education :High School or equivalent Category :Information Technology Job Description : Position Summary:The Web Programmer shall provide the dynamic programming tools and languages that fuel the Web. This position might work independently or be part of a team that builds and integrates interactive Web sites, applications, and services for both internal and public sites. Your role is to make it work, which means developing Web applications and testing them on various browsers, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user. The web developer will architect websites, design data-driven applications, and find efficient client-server solutions. The web Developer must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions. Job Requirements : Qualifications/Skill and Knowledge * 5 years programming experience in web development from design through test and implementation is required * 2 years of experience with the AFCEE resources (or equivalent) * 1 year of experience with the Past Performance Information/Past Performance Questionnaire (PPI/PPQ) database, and Contractor Solicitation Data Sheet database and web site (or comparable content) is required * Must have a working knowledge of current World Wide Web applications and scripting languages including Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Access, Quark, Adobe Suite, Acrobat, and Visual Basic programming languages and must be familiar with FTP sites. * Other commonly used web programming languages and utilities are Silverlight, Paintshop Pro, Database integration using Structured Query Language (SQL) server/Access, Active Server Page (ASP), Active Server (), Text Editor, and MS Designer * Working knowledge of the AFCEE Public and Private portal websites which have built-in content manager software which is forms-based screens and used for text and headlines entries * Skill in the use of XML, XSL, and Active Server Pages is also required * Must have one of the following Certifications: GSEC (SANS) or Security+ (Comp TIA) or SCNP () or SSCP (ISC2) * Must meet the DOD 8570.01-M certification urity Requirements· Must be able to obtain a NAC
