Description: Northrop Grumman is seeking a System Engineer to provide system hardware/software support and sustainment of all USAREUR VTC suites which include but are not limited to Polycom, Tandberg and Aretha. Knowledge and Experience must include hands on configuration and administration of all the VTC suites currently in use. Individual will be responsible for identifying and resolving hardware and software malfunctions. The Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining current and future system integrations. Individual must work well in austere environments as a part of a team of other technicians and engineers.
Prior Hub experience is desired
Prior tactical video teleconferencing support is desired.
Satellite television understanding is desired.
Prior design or installation of VTC systems required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an appropriate technical discipline and seven(5) years of relevant experience as defined below OR;
An Associate's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and eight (8) years of relevant experience as defined below OR;
A Major Certification and eight (8) years of relevant experience as defined below OR;
Eight (12) years of relevant experience as defined above.
The candidate must be at minimum a secret clearance, TS or TS/SCI is preferable.
