This position supports the DTRA Enterprise Cloud (DEC) task order on the DTRA ITSS Program. The purpose of this Task Order is to establish an Enterprise Cloud environment for DTRA, providing the design, implementation, user and system migration, and transition into operations.
This candidate will perform VoIP design, architecture, and hands-on implementation for the DTRA Enterprise Cloud.
Responsibilities for this role include: implement and maintain network infrastructures; install and configure network equipment; perform network implementation, migration, test, and maintenance for the Baseline, Site 1, and Site 2 Deployment.
Responsibilities will also include developing transition plans and providing sustainment operator training. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with system level architecture, including test plan development and requirement verification.
Specific responsibilities:
. Support of an enterprise Cisco VOIP system . Monitor the environment and respond to alerts . Resolve complex outages and voice quality issues . Escalate issues with vendors including carriers, manufacturers, and service providers (e.g. Cisco, Verizon, AT&T, DOIM, etc.) . Fulfill requests for installations, changes in configurations, coverage paths, etc . Perform implementations and rollouts in cooperation with and directed by the Network Team . Oversee and assist in installations for office builds and reconfigurations. . Support and maintain the Cisco Call Manager/IPCC/Unity Voicemail and Voice gateway infrastructure. . Develop and support mobility options including soft-phone, phone Proxy and others. . Develop and support application integration with the voice environment, such as with Microsoft OCS & Lync for Click-to-dial functionality.
