• The VehicleTest Quality Engineer is responsible for vehicle ""over the road"" testing programs initiated during the developmentphases of new vehicle product. This role serves as a focal coordinator for testing groupswith simultaneous launches. The candidate must have proven track record for developing and executing standardization. The VehicleTest Quality Engineer will have proven experience in both supplier and quality areas. He/ She will have a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality landscape.
The successful candidate must possess outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions -- a self-confident leader who, in part due to his/her personal presence, style and demeanor, effectively sells ideas and solutions to others. This person must have unquestioned integrity.
The Vehicle Test Quality Engineer will:
• Coordinate outside test supplier activity related toreliability vehiclefleet testing
• Manage issues found from reliabilityfleet testing
• Validate issue resolution actions on reliability vehicle fleet
• Identify need for process improvements/procedures required
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering degree
• Three years automotive experience
• Two years quality experience
Preferred Qualifications: • Previous leadership experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
