Kelly IT Resources has an immediate need for a Validation Technician located in Hillsboro, OR.
The job description includes: Synthetic validation of a debug tool on an emulation environment: collect and prepare test for execution, submit the tests (with the tools under testing) on emulation, follow up to make sure the tests run, disposition failure/success and triage/debug failures, reporting test results/indicators. The failures could be tools issue, test issue, emulation issue, or CPU (RTL model on emulation) issue.
Skill set: - Good understanding of IA architecture, proven excellent software and/or hardware validation and/or debug experiences, independent and quick learner, documentation, indicator generation, etc. - Language: PERL scripting required, C++ desired, Assembly nice to have. - Proficient user of Linux/unix environment
