The Truck Driver drives diesel tractor and trailers in the local area and performs material handler duties at DISH Network warehouse as necessary.
Drives diesel tractor and trailers in DISH yard and local vendor locations. Trucks are usually 9 speed and the trailers are usually 48 to 53 feet in length.
Assists with loading and unloading when needed.
Performs Material Handler I & II duties during the course of a work-shift when required.
Performs the shipping and receiving functions during the course of a work-shift when required.
Operates all associated material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintains knowledge of and understands the maintenance and safety standards associated with tractor- trailer operations in accordance with Texas DOT requirements.
Maintains the organization of the trailers and traffic in the yard.
Maintains the cleanliness of the yard and surrounding area.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
