POSITION SUMMARY: This is an opportunity to join our dynamic and growing Pacific Northwest team as a Transportation Engineer, based in our Portland, OR office. This individual will serve on multiple current and planned project opportunities, and will have an important role in expanding URS' local transportation business. Primary duties would include:
. Serve as an important member of our transportation design team. . Assist in the preparation of highway/roadway design work using the appropriate combination of AASHTO, ODOT, and local agency standards. . Assist with the preparation of plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, reports, and technical memos. . Assist the planning and transit departments with roadway and highway interfaces. . Assist with preparing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules. . Assist our business development team in pursuing new Transportation projects. .
