Job Title: Training Facilitator II Requisition Number: 852 Company: JT3 LLC Job Category: COMMUNICATION Work Location: Nevada - Las Vegas State: Nevada Job Description: JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Provide training support for assigned contract(s) under minimal supervision. Provide technical support including the test, evaluation, validation and certification of training devices. 1. Review training curriculum and documentation to ensure development is in accordance with specifications. 2. Develop and update program training schedules and milestones;develop training presentations and issue papers. 3. Participate in the testing, inspection, and installation of training devices. 4. Provide technical assessment of training devices and report results to customer. 5. Facilitates training programs to selected workforce segments and assess results. 6. Review and comment on equipment facility requirements, system specifications, development specifications and other program documentation. 7. Develop training device engineering change proprosals. 8. Provide work direction to lower level training personnel. 9. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to his/her job. WORKING CONDITIONS This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizational skills, must be able to work under deadlines, an must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. The position may require travel. The foregoing conditions and physical requirements represent the general characteristics required to perform the essential functions for this job. In general, all positions may require standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Specific work assignments may include additional environmental conditions or physical requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. These specific requirements will be detailed in the job posting. Also, JT3 employees will only operate equipment that they have been fully trained on and/or certified to operate. If working in a training capacity, employee must be supervised at all times by a competent trained or certified company employee. Under no circumstances should employees use another employee's equipment without permission from their immediate supervisor or manager. Conversely, employees should not allow other JT3 or employees of another employer to use JT3 owned or assigned equipment without proof of training and approval of the shop manager. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or a technical discipline with atleast 4 years of job-related training experience. Good communication skills; requires operating application software including word processing and spreadsheet programs. Position may require travel.
