Thermal Engineer

Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Looking for highly responsible and motivated fluid flow and heat transfer specialist for analysis, design, and development of gas turbine components for auxiliary power units and small thrust engines to meet engine performance and durability requirements.
Responsibilities include performing cooling flow distribution and thermal analysis for gas-turbine components and systems. Ideal candidate would have demonstrated design and analysis abilities related to thermal management of gas-turbine components including turbine, compressor, combustor, inlet and exhaust, and other engine components.

7+ years of related experience. Candidate must have training in fundamental fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. Experience in using commercial thermal and computational fluid dynamics tools (ANSYS, CFX, & FLUENT) software is desired. Experience in project management is a plus.
Must be able to take complete ownership of a project and assume a broad responsibility in analysis and design integration in a high pressure aerospace environment.
Gas turbine engine design experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
