Seeking Test Engineer for Full Time Position in Bellingham

POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
Responsible for hardware/software design and documentation of manual and automated test fixtures for power supplies and related electrical/electronic equipment.
Provide technical supervision to other technical personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate released products for possible new or improved test system configurations
Develop and propose technical test solutions in collaboration with Product Design Engineering in response to requests from all departments
Create and release required fixture documentation for system identification, definition, and support
Identify and develop standard test features that are applicable across a wide variety of products as possible
Communicate and coordinate test system design information with engineering, marketing, manufacturing and other departments
Design fixtures to verify functionality while meeting production volume and quality assurance requirements
Meet fixture development schedules
Qualify and document fixture design for future duplication
Additional Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot technical issues that come up during verification and reliability testing of new products
Perform root cause analysis of product failures and recommend corrective actions or improvements to the engineering design team
Qualify new firmware releases for products
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent military training in engineering
Experience: 2 - 4 years in field of test engineering, testing and troubleshooting experience
Will work on-site no tele-commuting
Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English language
Ability to speak/read/write English
Detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Work well under pressure
Current driver s license and acceptable driving record
