Pratt & Whitney, a pioneer in flight and technology, is part of the United Technologies Corporation (UTC) family. SEV (Systems Engineering Validation) is looking for a Test Operations Intern Engineer to support military and commercial engine and component testing at its West Palm Beach test site. As a member of the Florida test team, the Operation's Engineer is the focal point for ensuring that the facility and related systems are ready to support testing. The Operation's Intern Engineer will work closely with current Operations Engineers along with test stand mechanics, data recording technicians, trades personnel, and test engineers to ensure timely execution of tests. The selected candidate must be able to think quickly and respond appropriately to prevent costly delays to test programs. Additionally, the selected candidate must be able to work with personnel of various skill levels and variety of backgrounds. The ability and willingness to assume strong ownership and a leadership role is key to this position.
