Technical Specialist - Safety Systems Tracking Code 1FAR0081 Job Description Job Responsibilities: The Safety Manager will provide day to day safety engineering support to his assigned projects. Will perform all safety analysis and prepares all safety reports for assigned projects. To carry out safety analysis related to TRW products to determine safety requirements, and compliance to safety requirements. The typical analysis includes computing the single part fault metric (SPF) and latent point fault metric (LPF). These are specialized analyses that are now required and may be reviewed by the customer and auditors. The manager will present and defend TRW safety process to customers and other outside identify hazards and assess safety integrity level for new products, determine scope of safety case activities, perform regular audit of those activities and approve the final risk assessment. Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years experience working at a Tier 1 supplier or OEM Experience in academic training in one or more engineering disciplines Experience in system design and safety engineering Able to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills
Education:
