Job ID: 2268 Job Type: Contract Location: North Billerica , MA Division: Government Systems Job Description: SUMMARY: Under general supervision, responsible for testing/troubleshooting of electronic PCBs and mechanical subassemblies to the component level. Integration of system components and accessories used in production. Tasks are complex and/or difficult in nature. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs setup, calibration, equalization, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies using company approved test procedures. 2. Responsible for system integration and testing, including assisting lower level personnel in the performance of this task. 3. Rewrite or improve test procedures and formalize them for approval at appropriate engineering and management levels. 4. Train lower level personnel in the performance of testing/troubleshooting of major/minor components of systems to the component level. Requires an excellent working knowledge of test equipment and electrical/mechanical principles. 5. Write and communicate using appropriate forms or methods. 6. Provide leadership in the performance of work schedule and production goals. 7. Perform other job related duties as required.
Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 5-7 years prior work experience in a related field. AS degree in electronics or equivalent required. Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, proficient with using electronic test equipment required, e.g., oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and signal generators. imaging equipment. Electronics certification preferred. experience must include digital, analog, and microprocessor fundamentals. This position requires minimum of six years experience along with limited leadership ability.
