Systems Engineering Program Manager
The Systems Engineering Program Manager supports USAF acquisition process with Reentry Vehicles, works closely with the customer to define and manage required tasks/teams to support those tasks. Also coordinates with the design agent for replacements to ensure successful integration into the weapon system. Also manages budgetary evaluations/issues resolution, works closely with the Government on funding need/budgetary requirements and provides periodic status reporting to upper management.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience with the MM III weapon system and at least two years experience with the fuses in the MM III Mk12A and Mk21 Reentry Vehicles.
• DoD Secret Clearance now (active) as well as have the ability to obtain a DOE nuclear weapons clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:• Knowledge of the Joint Common Feasibility Fuze Study program is highly desirable.
• Outstanding communications skills and the ability to brief upper management on program status, issues/problems including recommended solutions, and program management needs is extremely desirable.
