Systems Engineer 4
Exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the 737 MAX Development Programs Regulatory Administration Team and play a key role in the development and integration of the 737 MAX Program. As a Certification Specialist, you will work with Boeing design and integration teams and the Regulatory Administration team to ensure all activities required for certification of the 737MAX-7, -8, and -9 are accomplished for your functional areas. In this assignment, you will employ a detailed understanding of certification program phases and processes to execute a detailed schedule/plan to support the Program certification strategy. You will utilize lessons learned from other programs to ensure successful execution in your functional area of responsibility. Responsibilities will include supporting the development of the certification basis and management of certification plans from inception to completion. In addition, you will partner with your IPT cert plan owners to define certification requirements, lead and coordinate certification basis issues, address risk items, facilitate the resolution of technical issues, and provide guidance on certification processes and procedures. Applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex certification solutions is required. You will represent the Regulatory Administration Organization at Program and Regulatory Agency meetings. In addition, some process improvement work is required.

• Federal Aviation Reg
Extensive and specialized knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 21, 25, 43, 65, 91, 119, 121, and 145 on the maintenance, certification, repair, and operation of aircraft to ensure compliance in concept and design.

Typical Education/Experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
