The IT Services/Solutions Architect will support large IT Services outsourcing efforts for critical government customers; ensuring best practices in IT Services and support are consistently applied to optimize services delivery while reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across the IT systems lifecycle. Responsibilities include assessing existing IT operations and support approaches, defining an IT Services architecture optimized for the specific customer missions, and working with customers, users, operators, partners, subcontractors, teammates and technology vendors to deliver a comprehensive turnkey IT solution. This position requires a multi-disciplined senior-level IT Solutions and Services Architect with extensive technical and leadership experience in the IT field. Required skills include: ? Broad knowledge of IT Services, Solutions and Outsourcing o Define IT Services consistent with industry Best Practices (ITILv2/v3, CoBIT, eTOM) o Decompose high-level IT capability needs into discrete IT Service & Systems requirements and solutions. o Develop IT Service Descriptions and Service measurement metrics: ? Service Level Agreements (SLAs); Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Operations Level Agreements (OLAs) ? Work with Service delivery organizations to ensure that Services are delivered as required. o Create detailed Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for IT Services provided by partners or other external third-parties. ? Broad knowledge of Enterprise-class IT Services architecture and technologies, including: o Converged networking o Mutil-level Security architectures o Applications Development and support o Systems/Operations management tools and Common Operational Pictures (COP) o Information Assurance, INFOSEC and DoD IA Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP) o Service-Oriented-Architectures (SOA) o Product evaluation and selection for both HW and SW platforms o Verification and Validation Test planning and execution o Transitioning and Cutover ? Supports new business and proposal technical teams. Identifies required technical resources and skill required and negotiates staff access/availability. Acts as lead IT Services Architect for strategic capture initiatives. ? Task, project and program oversight as required during implementation ?
