Systems AdministratorTitle: Systems Administrator Location: OR-Portland PDS is seeking a Systems Administrator for an open position in Portland, OR.
Roles and Responsibilities: . Perform the daily activities involved in the configuration and operation of SCCM servers and clients in an Enterprise network environment of 35,000 users . Optimize system operations and resource use, and provide system performance/capacity analysis and planning. . Provide assistance to users in client side SCCM functionality. . Provide desk side support of desktop/laptop and network hardware and software
Minimum Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: . Expert level knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Activity Directory . Proficient at deployment and administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) . Proficient Administering Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) . Proficient in setting up new users to include OU assignment . Proficient in the appropriate use of with elevated privileges, and knowledgeable of security implications of these privileges . Must possess or obtain a Security or higher IA certification within six months of starting Experience . 3 years of Windows Server 2003 or later systems administration a multi-level architecture . 2 years experience performing systems administration using Microsoft SCCM or SMS . 5 years experience in a team oriented infrastructure support environment such as a data center.
Preferred Qualifications:Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: . Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, math, science, or engineering, or equivalent experience . Security , CISSP, or equivalent certifications-if not obtained prior to start, the candidate must obtain the certification within six months. . Obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start. Must be able to obtain a Secret and obtain a final secret clearance within six months
