System Validation Engineering Manager

The Hamilton Sundstrand Air Management Systems (AMS) organization currently has an opening for a qualified Systems Validation Engineering Manager. The candidate must be an energetic and dedicated individual with leadership characteristics and demonstrated successful performance in managing standard work execution across multiple development programs.
The qualified individual must have a broad system validation background and have experience in the design and development of environmental control systems which includes cabin air conditioning and temperature control systems as well as electronic equipment cooling. The specific experience and expertise include requirements definition, systems design and controls definition, subsystem integration and experience in the verification and validation of requirements.
Duties will also include coordination of requirements, budgets, schedules, and proposals to meet program requirements and execution of Standard Work. Participation in process improvement initiatives utilizing UTC' Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Operating System will be required.
The ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) technically to all engineering disciplines is a critical attribute.

Minimum 7 - 10 years aerospace experience in the Systems Engineering discipline and have a demonstrated ability in supervising design and development engineers in the development of systems requirements and systems validation.
