Location: North America-USA-Missouri-St. Louis
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for contributing to the development and ongoing management of Monsanto's Supplier Quality & Integration program in all regions (North America, South America, EMEA and APAC). This includes managing continuous improvement strategies, processes and activities aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership of direct and indirect materials. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Procurement organization to develop a world class supplier management program which will include the identification, qualification, implementation, and continuous improvement of Monsanto's suppliers. The Individual selected will play a key role in enabling the cultural change within the procurement organization. This position will report directly to the Supplier Quality and Integration Lead and may be located in St. Louis, MO or at one of Monsanto's plant locations.

Responsibilities:
· Create, communicate, and implement Monsanto's Supplier Quality and Integration vision, strategies, practices, and procedures across all business units
· Contributes to the development of the supplier and commodity qualification process
· Responsible for commodity improvements aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership of direct and indirect materials
· Contributes to the development and implementation of specifications and measurement systems, including supplier scorecards focusing on cost, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
· Develop and implement Monsanto's supplier integration process for new suppliers
· Lead the organization and suppliers towards the objective of lowest cost of ownership supply chains employing appropriate continuous improvement tools including six sigma
· Work with Category and Operations Teams to develop and implement supplier quality and integration strategies to achieve stated goals and objectives


Required (Basic/Minimum Qualifications):
· BA/BS in Supply Chain Management/Business/Engineering or related field required with MBA preferred
· Successful 3-5 year track record in a Global Procurement Organization or equivalent manufacturing process experience
· Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt preferred
· Expert in partnering, supplier quality, continuous improvement, influence at all levels of the organization, cross-functional teaming
· Ability to work successfully in a heavily matrixed environment/ Ability to work effectively across global and business matrixes
· Accomplished in Sourcing thinking and action
