In 2008, the Quality Organization within Chrysler became its own standalone function. Since then, the group has more than tripled in size. This growth is a testament to the commitment of Chryslers' senior management to produce a top-rated quality product. In setting high standards in the six types of quality: reliability, dissatisfaction, regulatory, perceived, performance, and service, Chrysler's product line and customer experience has improved dramatically. The teams within the Quality Organization are empowered to improve customer satisfaction for their system or area. As a result, Chrysler now has the best quality in the 73-year history of the company.
TheStatistical Technical Specialist is responsible for providing timely consultation and support to the entire Quality organization on statistical applications to resolve real world issues. Deliver a much needed and highly valued competency for the overall organization. Perform risk analysis using engineering physics, statistical models, and simulation methods for optimization and/or decision making. This involves complicated issues from potential recalls and warranty, physical and functional behaviors/performance of vehicle systems and components, andquality metrics such asordinary, dissatisfaction, regulatory, performance, perceived, and service.
TheStatistical Technical Specialist is a newly created position and offers the selected candidate an opportunity to develop and grow the data analytics functionfor the Quality s position resides within a dynamic group that is passionate and dedicated to delivering a premier product to the consumer.
Basic Qualifications:
• Engineer and mathematic degree • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer degree • Knowledge of probabilistic and statistical methods applied to Engineering application • Knowledge of building a ""math model"" to resolve either engineering problems or process problems
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools • Drive for problem solving and process thinking • A Self Starter • Demonstrated leadership skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
