AutoReqId 6438BR Job Title Staff ASIC Design Engineer SanDisk Job Description In this position, the individual will be responsible for overseeing definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development. The individual will determine architecture design, logic design, and system simulation, will defines module interfaces/formats for simulation, contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits, and evaluate all aspects of the process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, and power use. Lastly, the individual will analyze equipment to establish operation data; conducts experimental tests, and evaluate results and may also review vendor capability to support development.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
