Major Job Duties Include:
*Design and build electronic circuits, circuit boards, electrical systems, break out boxes, load boxes and other electronic projects and tasks.
*Create schematics and wiring diagrams.
*Work with Engineers and other Technicians to develop and build test equipment including part selection, procurement, prototyping, electronic build, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
*ECU and board-level repairs and modifications, including surface mount and ball-grid devices.
*Debug and trouble shoot of circuits, wiring and complete systems.
*Vehicle Installation: Be able to take apart all types of vehicles and custom install Bosch products, harnesses and custom electronic equipment.
*Be able to research vehicle wiring diagrams and track down vehicle power and communication signals.
*Able to perform high quality installs and then return vehicle back to original condition as received or requested.
*Use outside of the box thinking in order to complete build from beginning to end and utilizing innovative concepts to complete projects by customer expectations.
*Support the departments CIP initiatives and processes (support creating and documenting processes such as guidelines, procedures and instructions).
*Be able to multi task (coordinate multiple customer projects including supporting other lab functions in order to work load balance activities).

Minimum Requirements Include:
*Associates degree or equivalent in electronics.
*Knowledge of surface mount devices and skills in soldering and de-soldering of surface mount devices.
*Able to do some design work based on rough concepts and requirements.
*Experience working with vehicles and mechanical systems.
*Good interpersonal and customer interface skills.

Desired:
*5+ years of electronics experience.
