DUTIES: Identify, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions for production processes; design, architect and develop technical solutions for point of service (POS) using Java, .NET and object oriented programming for Oracle, WebLogic and Legacy applications in a client server web-based environment; lead a team of direct reports, consultants and contractors to establish objectives and provide feedback on team performance; mentor and coach the team in technical skills and work with non-core teams to evaluate and provide technical solutions; provide third party application tool integration and perform heavy shell, Perl programming and process flow analysis; work with internal production staff for production implementation and process documentation; perform error handling and implement automatic monitoring tool; analyze data to improve system performance using Perl and Shell scripting programming on UNIX operating system and HP platform; develop detailed program specifications, coding and testing of application programs.
LOCATION: Dallas, Texas (and various other locations throughout the U.S., may work from home)
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or Computer Science followed by five years of progressive experience designing, architecting and developing technical solutions for point of service (POS) using Java, .NET and object oriented programming for Oracle, WebLogic and Legacy applications in a client server web-based environment.
