As our Federal Government Senior Sales/Systems Engineer, you will need to be based ideally out of D.C./VA. You will be the product expert providing solutions for enterprise-level storage products. This will include:
Responding to sales questions on product feature capability;
Engaging directly in the field for key Federal Government customer meetings, presentations and support;
Assisting Alliances with technology partnership engagements including installations, solution testing, and delivering content and training around partnerships and integrations;
Creating demonstration environments and utilities that demonstrate key differentiators for our company’s software/hardware capabilities;
Installing, evaluating, and performing in-depth analysis of competitive and complementary technologies and products to compare and differentiate them with our solutions (and subsequently becoming an expert on storage resource management (SRM), performance monitoring, and security companies and products in the market);
Creating competitive/complementary solution content that will be used by sales, engineering, marketing, and product management (e.g. competitive analysis, whitepapers, data sheets, and presentations).
To qualify for this role, you’ll need…
5+ years of technical knowledge which includes an in depth, senior level understanding of storage and server products, including knowledge of how they are implemented in typical enterprise Federal Government customer environments.
Experience installing and configuring Windows, Linux and VMware operating systems, and an understanding of performance monitoring, SANs and networking will also be important.
A strong previous experience working with enterprise-level system integration and experience replicating technical environments in a lab will allow you to quickly gain a detailed knowledge of our products and begin contributing.
A self-starter mentality, strong communication skills and business acumen will allow you to seamlessly integrate with our team and clients.

A 4 year college Degree - Engineering strongly preferred.
Compensation includes:
Lucrative base salary of $125-160,000 based on experience. 15% bonus and performance incentives.
