Seeking an energetic Sr System Engineer to join our team to help design and develop the Next Generation of Cabin Management for the Bizjet Market. The candidate must be both technically strong in Software Development and/or Electrical Design, be creative/enthusiastic, understand Market needs, and be able to communicate effectively. The accepted candidate will work closely with Marketing and Product Development to help define critical requirements that will bring innovation and value for our customers. In addition, the candidate will also be working closely with Software leads and Electrical leads to define the best design approach to making those requirements a reality. Lastly, the candidate will be in constant communication with System Engineers from other projects to ensure that the final integration comes together seamlessly.
Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience defining and writing System Requirements and Design Documents. Candidate will also have at least another 5 years of experience working as a developer or a board level designer. Strong theoretical skills are as important as practical skills. Ability to understand leading technologies and how we can harness them to do rapid development or prototyping is a must. Most importantly, being able to communicate your vision and idea in a clear concise manner will be vital. Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and six years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, twelve years of related experience.
