Title: Sr Systems Engineer (Bombardier EFIS/EICAS Display Systems) Location: Iowa-Cedar Rapids, IA This position is part of an organization that creates Avionics Display Systems for top of the line Business Aircraft. As a member of this team you will be working on the Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS) and Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System (EICAS) created for world class airplanes.
As a Senior Systems/Software Engineer to support design and verification of Display Applications, tasks include requirements captures , software design and modeling, verification and certification support of Rockwell Collins display subsystem. This positions provides the ability to apply technical and leadership skills to the development and certification of high end avionics systems used on top end business aircraft.
Responsibilities include subsystem definition, requirements development, integration testing, and verification of display system. Job requires ability to perform technical coordination and communications with multiple development teams. Highly desirable to have previous software, display systems development, systems engineering, or verification experience. Candidate must have good written/oral communication, team building, and analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will be driven to meet development goals and create technical solutions for world class display systems. Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and six years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, twelve years of related experience.
