ITT Intelligence Solutions (IS) is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the integration of a novel metadata format across several missions by facilitating the adoption, documentation and deployment of the new standard. The selected candidate must be a self starter, requiring minimal supervision and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and frequently stressful environment. Specific duties include: .Analyzing existing data flows and documenting current interfaces .Assisting in data modeling .Defining problem domain ontologies .Participating in working groups .Preparing for and presenting briefings .Analyzing missing use of metadata .Managing informational websites and wikis .Facilitating the management and publication of metadata standards Required Experience: Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 10-12 years
10+ years experience in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry knowledge: o 10+ years experience as a Software or System Engineer supporting system and software architecture, development, requirements analysis, design, process execution and evaluation, selections and evaluations of COTS/GOTS tools and test integrations . 5+ years experience with XML, XML parsers, XML schemas and XSLT . 5+ years experience with commercial configuration management tools such as: o ClearCase o ClearQuest o Subversion . Experience with COTS XML tools, such as XML Spy . Experience developing SOA based web services, such as: o REST WDL o SOAP
Successful candidates must have a TS/SCI with a Polygraph. Desired Skills: . 3+ years direct experience in the intelligence community or with signals intelligence activities Clearance Level Required TS/SCI with Poly Minimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or Equivalent Percent of Travel Required N/A Work Status Full-Time
