PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for implementing and improving core Quality concepts such as APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC, Gage R&R, Corrective Action/8D. Actively strive to improve manufacturing processes by utilizing variability reduction methodologies such as DOE, Six Sigma, and Lean. Ensure compliance to current Quality Management System (ISO/TS). Ensure compliance to Eaton Quality standards for incoming materials, fabricating/ manufacturing processes, and finished goods. Create and maintain appropriate files and reports to support these quality requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: tomer focused - Develop and maintain process control plans assuring all customers specific requirements are met and included. - Interact with & assist customers on quality related issues, report root cause & corrective actions back to customer; conduct customer visits as needed - Lead and assure full compliance on PPAP requirements. Communicate and provide status to customer on PPAP assuring all processes meet customer specific requirements - Review on daily basis customer web sites to monitor performance and provide feedback to all team members - Perform capability studies to confirm customer requirements - Sense of urgency on customer complaints reported blem Solving - corrective & preventive actions - Participate in & lead structured team problem solving & apply statistical & other problem solving tools - Review data collection methods & applicability of data to operator control. Drive preventive and corrective actions based data collection - Actively participate in manufacturing & process improvement team as the voice of the customer - Team members development on preventive mind set lity System -Support internal and external audit to assure quality system accomplishment -Actively participate in audits conducted by customers in our plant cess Audits - Perform process audit and develop actions with dates and owners for findings with proper follow up until improvements are implemented and validated with data

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Strong quality and statistics background required.
• Minimum 5 years experience applying quality tools in a manufacturing environment. Automotive preferred.
• ASQ certification preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Solid knowledge of engineering techniques & manufacturing processes
• Thorough knowledge of statistics & statistical process control, including MSA
• Knowledge of metrology, including CMM application & programming preferred
