This position will be responsible for supporting Lean throughout the International & Service Solutions (I&SS) Business Unit. In addition to supporting Lean in the operations environment, a focus area for this position will be to assist in driving Lean to support the Pursuit Order Capture business processes, with a Global acumen.
Driving Lean to support the Pursuit Order Capture business processes may require Lean infrastructure enhancements, creating an environment of Lean self sufficiency around the globe, and monitoring metrics to validate the effectiveness of Lean in meeting the Pursuit Order Capture business objectives.
The creation of an environment of Lean self sufficiency around the globe will entail facilitating Lean events, delivering Lean training to both facilitators as well as trainers, and providing Lean mentorship.
Principal Accountabilities: * Acts as a catalyst across the enterprise for performance improvement projects and process change. * Supports I&SS business unit with ongoing projects by executing given strategies to enhance process effectiveness. * Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of variable factors. Ensures solutions are consistent with organizational and business objectives. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results. * Responds to business unit managers requests to enhance productivity and/or increase process efficiency. Functions as an advisor regarding definition of tasks, projects, and activities to achieve desired improvement results. * Implements analytical methodologies, including survey and analysis techniques of processes and best practices. * Develops coordinates and delivers Lean training programs as required: Lean philosophy, continuous improvement tools and methods; change management; leadership role in championing Lean; Lean Event facilitation, and others.

Relates and compares information from various sources to deduce cause-effect relationships. * Judgment- Reaches good, practical decisions based on factual information and sound logic. Uses logical assumptions and sound logic to decide between competing courses of action. Doesn't lose sight of the big picture when making a particular decision. Accurately assesses the costs, benefits and risks associated with various alternative courses of action. * Decisiveness- Personal confidence fuels decisiveness and empowers him/her to stay the course, remaining committed to a decision amidst controversy and doubt. Focus Areas: * Marketing, Sales, Business Development, or Order Capture experience & passion * International Acumen (welcome diversity and travel) * Lean Experience with emphasis on Business processes outside of Manufacturing * Ability to clearly articulate in group settings * Experience in delivering training to a diverse audience * Ability to translate business needs into actionable steps Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, and four years of related experience, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, ten years of related experience.
