Sr Engineer - Over-the-Air Device Management
-A BS degree in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent work experience required (relevant degrees will be considered). An advanced degree is preferred.
-8 years of experience working in the telecommunications industry is required.
-Experience in vendor management and project management.
-CCNA or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
Highly Desired Experience:
• OMA-DM protocol v 1.2 & 2.0
• DLOTA v1.0
• Weblogic or JBOSS
• Oracle 10g
• SIP signaling & IMS architecture
• EV-DO and LTE call setup and architecture
• HTTP(s), TCP/IP, DNS
Advanced knowledge:
• OTAF/OTAPA (IS-683)
• Security (MD5, HMAC, SAML) and Authentication (AAA)
• Device/handset and client design
• Content Delivery Networks
• Firewall, VLAN and Load-balancer architecture and engineering
Position requirements include superb verbal and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills. The candidate must be independent, self-motivated, detail oriented and experienced in leading technical Senior Engineer in this position will be responsible for providing technical leadership across a set of projects, focused on Over-the-Air (OTA) device management based primarily on the OMA DM v1.2 protocol. The person will be responsible for the system architecture, requirements, design, engineering, and testing associated with new and current wireless products and services. Responsibilities center on leading large, multi-department teams to cooperatively design and develop strategic business initiatives in the wireless network, focused on achieving superior business results.
