Requisition # E1881742 Job Title Sr. Engineer-HW RF application Post Date 8/31/2010 Division Qualcomm CDMA Technology Job Area Engineering - Hardware Location China - Beijing Job Function - Support local customer handset design with Qualcomm chipset from design phase to mass production - Work in cross-function team which include HW, SW and test engineers to handle and support our customer RF issues, help customer products passing GCF/PTCRB certification with focus on GCF RF. - Provide QCT Chipset training to customers, include RF transceiver, RF calibration, RF layout etc. - Work with team to review customer's schematic and layout. - Work with sales and marketing team for pre- and post-sales support. - Domestic travel is required.
Skills/Experience - Good knowledge on digital communication system including GSM,CDMA2000 or WCDMA familiar with 3GPP protocol and GCF test spec especially on RF/RRM side. - Strong knowledge of RF and analog circuits - Knowledge on C language. - Experience in one or more of the following related areas: Mobile device hardware design, CDMA/WCDMA GSM telecom product support, handset performance testing on system level or field, physical layer protocol or RF driver software design/implementation. - Familiar with usage of wireless testbox such as CMU200,Agilent 8960 or Anritsu 8820,spectrum analyzer, signal generator, Oscilloscope and CAD tools such as Allergo, OrCAD,PowerPCB etc. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both Chinese and English.
Responsibilities Education Requirements BSEE is required. MSEE will be a plus.
