Sr Electronics Technician
Title: Sr Electronics Technician Location: Iowa-Cedar Rapids, IA Description: Responsible for providing lab support to Service Operations Support Project Management and Product Support teams. The primary roles are the build, testing, troubleshooting, delivery and setup of highly complex test/repair equipment for the Service Operations Service Centers. The test equipment/systems includes RFT, ITS, CTS, and GS automated test equipment (ATE's) as well as other computer-aided and manual test stations. Will be required to interface with Engineering, Production Operations, Product Support, Quality and Test Equipment Services to resolve issues. Other responsibilities include assisting with restoration of test/repair capabilities when fielded equipment fails, and the management of spare equipment for the Service Centers/Bases. This includes the receipt, storage, calibration scheduling, shipment and recall of equipment to and from the service centers, Test Equipment Services, and Lab 66.
Additional Requirements: Must have a passion for customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively work in a teaming environment utilizing Lean principals with minimum supervision. Experience with Microsoft Office applications desirable. Travel to the US and International Service Centers is required.
Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required. Associate's degree in appropriate discipline, and five years of related experience, or, in the absence of an associate's degree, eight years of related experience.
