Senior Designers are responsible for coordinating and executing, look & feel exploration, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions. Qualified candidates have five to seven years web and mobile experience and formal design training with strong typographical, print, motion graphic, and interaction design skills. A basic understanding of technologies used to build both web and mobile devices is essential, and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash required (actionscript is a huge plus). The mobile designer must have experience designing with blackberry, smart phone, and tablet devices. Ability to work in limited resolution with strong UI and AI is required. Experience creating ad banner campaigns and marketing print materials is a must. Requires independent initiative to develop and execute projects. Candidate should be able to guide a project from start to finish with minor supervision, and be comfortable communicating with product leads to advise on information architecture and user interface considerations.
Responsibilities: . Create and maintain designs for an array of mobile devices. . New product design: Create visual mockups and make user interface suggestions and improvements on the mobile application. . Create and maintain promotional web pages for mobile products. . Design sponsored pages for sales, including but not limited to photo galleries, event pages, fantasy games, and gametrax products. . Design accompanying promotional banners, e-mails, and billboard images . Marketing: Create online campaigns for internal and partner product launches. Creation of flash banners, take-over graphics, landing pages, and print campaigns.
Requirements: . Art degree or other related degree. 5+ yrs experience . Good communicator, must work well with others . Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator a must. Flash, InDesign, highly recommended . Must have a strong aesthetic sense. Good use of type and images. . Basic HTML knowledge and web design experience. . Must be a sports enthusiast
