Job Description . Design parts and assemblies, provide drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials for fabricated materials as requested by engineers . Develop and maintain label system formats and databases . Convert legacy part/assembly (AutoCAD, ProE) drawings to NX models/assemblies . Create maintain work instructions/procedures relevant to responsibilities and role.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: . Create drawings to suit engineering changes. Create routine design layouts and detailed drawings of products. Assists in compiling materials and specification sheets. Dimension and annotate drawings. . Engineer and design products from Mechanical Design Requests for variety of Industrial Controls Products. . Implement and complete any design related functions per Engineering Change Notices. . Design innovative products and improvements to support Design to Cost projects. . Support manufacturing locations as necessary with detailed models/drawings/other as requested. . Support all Engineers as a technical resource as needed. . Comply with all ISO standards. . Assist with training of employees in NX/Teamcenter operations and best practices and coordinate with other NX/TC leads at other locations. . Support role out of Teamcenter within IA CE business unit.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: . Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required. . Minimum 5 years experience designing 3D models, 3D sheet metal parts and / or enclosures . Expert in Siemens PLM Software, NX CAD systems, NX Sheetmetal, Teamcenter
