We are currently seeking aSr Department Support Coordinatorin Tustin, CA. This position's primary responsibility will be in the area of gathering customer information, identifying requests, providing immediate response information. Must demonstrate the ability to support internal and external customer requests, and provide a wide variety of administrative and computer skills to assist department projects. Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organizational and analytical skills. Performs moderately complex clerical/administrative support assignments for department, under limited supervision. Applies general knowledge of company policies and procedures and business rules in support of departmental and company goals and objectives.

Candidate will work in a Lean Initiative work environment, part of a dynamic process improvement oriented, cross-functional work team. Will assist team with metrics database updates, commitment to customer dates, and participate in process improvement activities.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Operates personal computers and related equipment to maintain departmental records, tables, and data management systems.
· Performs operating budget tracking and analysis activities; assists in budgeting process.
· Collects, compiles, records, inputs, sorts and formats information for departmental/division reports, tracking data, and other applications.
· Files documents as needed.
· Performs administrative duties requiring overall knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, departmental operations, organizational structures, and services.
· Manage electronic database in support of managing a physical and/or electronic inventory.

SKILLS DESIRED:
· Coordinating - Understands how to disseminate internal information.
· Customer Service Orientation - Knowledgeable regarding the process of interacting with customers to provide positive experience and issue resolution.
· Determining Needs - Understands the importance of adequately addressing and solving customer problems.
· Information Management - Uses software packages for record keeping purposes.
· Relationships - Understands the importance of remaining compassionate and empathetic when dealing with the problems of others.
· Resolving Conflict - Understands elementary techniques used in resolving disagreements.
· Stress Tolerance - Understands the importance of staying calm and relaxed under pressured situations.

Applicant must be capable of obtaining an active US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 7 years experience.
