Major Job Duties Include: Resident Software Engineer at customer development site Primary contact for all software deliveries and modifications Involve as necessary in software testing, production, or final release of engine controller module Assist customer in understanding and demonstration of Bosch development tools used to build the software Assist/guide customer in integration of software and hardware and setting up the testing of the controller Participate in development trips as needed - Facilitate communication and issue resolution with customer Help determine the root cause of any anomaly in the behavior of the embedded control system, including vehicle hardware, ECM hardware/software, or development tools
Minimum Job Requirements Include: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred) 3-5 years experiencein Automotive embedded controllers development Good analytical skills with systematic approach to problem resolutions Familiarity with software testing and debugging tools as well as software development environment Good communication skills to discuss issues/resolutions with global development team and external customer Experience in C language
Preferred Hardware analysis and troubleshooting skills Model based software developments tools eg. ASCET, Simulink, dSpace, etc
