Job Description: Senior Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer for development of airborne software. - Responsible for entire software life cycle including requirement gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation - Responsible for Linux Kernel level debugging and device driver development - Airborne software integration - Integration of airborne units with ground based systems - Support hardware debugging and testing -Participate in engineering design approaches and design reviews
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 5-10 years experience in embedded real-time programming - Proficiency in C/C++ programming, Linux Operating System internals, Open Embedded Architecture, interface with hardware, and computer networking is required - Perform complex software design and implementation with minimal supervision - Knowledge of Bootstrap software is strongly desired - Knowledge of MontaVista Linux is a plus - Good communication skills - Capable of working effectively both individually and in a team environment
