Software Developer/Programmer is responsible for managing Business Objects (BOBJ) Server and Business Intelligence Reporting.
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Has full technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Understands the business or function for which application is designed. Duties also include instructing, directing and checking the work of other systems analysts and programming personnel.
5 - 8 years experience as a Business Objects Developer. Experienced working on Web Intelligence Universe Designer Crystal 2008 and SDK. Expertise in Java development and Web development. Strong knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle and SQL. Sound knowledge of web and java services. Proficient in utilizing the crystal reports and Xcelsius 2008 query as a web service. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Pro active and self starter with the great ability of leadership.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical experience.
Must be capable of working in a fast past environment and passing a minimal background investigation for facility clearance. Prior experience supporting IT projects for the Department of Treasury a plus.
