Responsible for Open Systems operational environment management, build out,integration, systems documentation, maintaining vendor support and technical interaction, technology implementation with and identifying sound technical solutions to execute the requirements of the business
Must work effectively with Systems Architects, System Administrators, Project Managers, DBAs, Developers and management to provide timely execution and support for business systems, planning, implementation and increased system uptimes
Must know or quickly learn the working environment, technical and business, through self initiative and direction from senior staff and/or piers
Will assist in mentoring of team members and other workers relating to the job function and demonstrate leadership through technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, business knowledge, organizational skills and professionalism
Must be able to participate effectively on team and enterprise projects
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or MIS/CIS) and 6-10 years of relevant IT experience (minimum 4-7 years of systems administration). Relevant experience may be a substitute for education.
