The candidate will have direct involvement in plant design, which may include reviewing and developing the process simulation (ASPEN 7.1) to generate FEL-3 (detailed) & FEL-2 (conceptual) engineering packages for capital projects. The successful candidate will also continue the evaluation and development of the process simulation, develop process recommendations that are bases on recommendations from the industry itself, perform material & heat balances, develop stream reports, He or she will further develop and evaluate the process simulation, make process recommendations based on industry recommendations, develop stream reports, & review P&IDs, capital cost estimates, & PFDs.
Responsibilities: Development of engineering packages for project development activities with discussion of process, technology and equipment providers is expected Management and development of an overall plant simulation Lead/manage Value Improving Process and Process Hazards Analyses evaluations Active participation in intermittent assessments of techno-economic evaluations process equipment and technology and technical progress Reports to the SVP of Engineering
Requirements: BSE in CE or related degree 10 years related industrial Posses skills in process economics, process simulation development, front-end engineering, capital estimating Knowledge in chemical and thermodynamic process engineering Ability to efficiently multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Great organization skills Must be able to learn quickly and adjust to meet deadlines Must be a collaborative self-starter Excellent oral and written communication skills Prior experience working in a project engineering environment to include the implementation of advanced technologies Offers competitive compensation and benefits
