Here are the details:
The ideal candidate should have a background in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and will be responsible for the support, maintenance and optimization of our production database environment.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Coding and fixing of T-SQL statements, ability to review code and logs to increase system performance on Microsoft SQL (Version2005-2008) platform for large databases.
Work with internal departments to create SQL queries in order to support internal production reports, exports to data to other data formats and running of ad-hoc reports.
Work with Development to identify and resolve issues within applications to ensure successful release of products and updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in Query Optimizations and Tuning.
Must be experienced in Creating Tables, Triggers and Stored Procedures.
Full life-cycle database experience including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Strong database modeling and design skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and ability to learn and research issues independently.
