Evaluate vendor solutions and software releases for Packet Core in global system for mobile communication (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE), universal mobile telecommunication systems (UMTS), high speed packet access (HSPA) and long term evolution (LTE) technologies; perform regression testing, feature verification testing and acceptance test plan for multi service proxy (MSP) and mobile data optimization (MDO); develop test cases for validating design and software release of MSP and monitor defects using quality center tool; maintain next generation gateway (NGG) and push proxy gateway (PPG) for work order requests from cross functional teams; analyze hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), transmission control protocol (TCP), user datagram protocol (UDP) and internet protocol (IP); execute all features test of MSP to validate product's functionality; monitor software releases for MSP deployments; develop test object lists, execute platform and system tests of new software patches prior to market release; design packet core network solutions, develop performance and capacity field guides; create project plans, platform roadmaps, and strategy whitepaper.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science and two years experience evaluating vendor solutions and software releases for Packet Core in global system for mobile communication (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE), universal mobile telecommunication systems (UMTS), and high speed packet access (HSPA) technologies.
