Senior Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
A leading program, construction and project management consulting firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical / Electrical Engineer with and emphasis in Telecommunications to join its team and work in Brower County, FL.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing electrical engineering designs for telecommunications projects and must meet the following design requirements; preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, schedules, as-built drawings, inspections, and supervision of other design staff. Types of projects may include new wireless telecommunication sites and co-locates including; wiring, primary and secondary power distribution, load studies, wiring, interior electrical systems, communications, lighting, and energy conservation. The Senior Engineer will be a member of the telecommunications design team supervised by a Design Manager or principal engineer. The Senior Electrical Engineer will perform electrical/mechanical system design, quality control, schedule, budget control, and supervision of any CAD support for assigned tasks (other functions may be assigned).
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Education: - BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years experience in performing design for wireless telecommunications sites. - Experienced in performing electrical design development, quality control, budget and schedule.
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering - Registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer in Florida
Physical Demands: Work is typically performed in an office setting, but the following physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the qualified candidate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job while performing site visits or inspections; sitting, bending, climbing, carrying, use hands to finger; handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
