Our client, a leader in the production of bearings and gears for industrial machinery, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for their facility in South Carolina. This position will be based outside of Columbia, SC.
Duties/Responsibilities
Position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Direct and manager cost reduction projects dealing with products or processes.
Manager engineering change processes.
Review all engineering change requests.
Manager engineering functions for assigned areas that includes: establish and set-up labor standards, develop processes for new products, designing new tool fixtures, trouble shooting equipment issues, and study improvement to labor and manufacturing costs.
Lead the engineering team to study new technology.
Establish engineering standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
10 plus years of manufacturing experience with machining tools and CNC machining.
