Engine & Control Systems (E&CS) provides complete jet engine controls and accessory packages. From the fuel tank to the igniters, we have the resources and expertise to design, qualify, and manufacture first in class central systems for our aerospace engine customers.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Engine & Control Systems Business Unit is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team responsible for the design, analysis, and test of electronic circuits for aerospace applications. The candidate will collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet technical, weight, cost, and schedule targets. Candidate must possess the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal oversight. The applicant shall demonstrate creativity and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal and customer multi-disciplinary groups to understand and meet customer system needs
- Conceive, design, document and support the implementation of complex system architectures
- Identify, author, allocate and manage requirements for these systems
- Author plans & procedures, and support verification and validation of these system requirements
- Perform and support system safety analysis and systems modeling
- Perform analysis to define and validate system requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BS of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace disciplines
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience required
Ind. Exp: Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Industrial, Energy, Space, Manufacturing, Heavy Machinery, Power Generation, Electronics, Government.
