Requisition Number 27972BR Position Title Senior Hardware Engineer, AC Servo Drives Location of Position United States-Wisconsin-Mequon Business Group Architecture and Software Relocation Eligible Yes Position Type Full Time Position Summary You will be responsible for embedded hardware design of Kinetix brand AC servo drive products. This position requires experience in product design of analog and digital electronic circuit hardware. This role requires strong leadership skills and ability to work in large project teams. Reference: />Minimum Qualifications * BSEE/MSEE with 4+ years of industrial controls experience in analog and digital design. * 4+ years of FPGA design experience. * Experience with CAD design tools for Schematic Capture, Circuit Analysis, Timing Analysis, and PCB layout * Ability to manage PCB layouts and perform design verification including statistical analysis of design margin. * Demonstrated understanding of design techniques to meet EMC, signal integrity, timing, and thermal requirements. * Experience with complex embedded control peripherals (DDR, Flash, FPGA, SPI, UART, PWM, A/D, Ethernet, CAN). * Experienced in the use of high frequency test equipment for making precision measurements Desired Qualifications * Familiarity with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLC architecture and connected components. * Experience with AC servo drives targeting Permanent Magnet Brushless and AC Induction motors. * Experience with Ethernet communication peripherals (MAC/PHY) * Proficiency with Mentor for schematic entry.
