SENIOR GEOLOGIST/ GEOLOGY ADVISOR
Key Responsibilities
Geological identification and evaluation of new venture Shale Rock Exploration opportunities.
Integrate large amount of data, stay abreast of the latest industry developments, and create maps and cross sections aimed at improving both the greater regional and play-specific knowledge.
Basin analysis through prospect generation activities and work closely with commercial team to assess entry opportunities.
Deliver high-quality interpretation product, including quality control and overall integration of all relevant geosciences studies (results from contributing specialists).
Work both independently and in collaboration with the team of specialists to generate new concepts and opportunities in accordance to the company standards.
Requirements:
5years+ of relevant industry experience (prior Shale Gas exploration a distinct advantage).
Degree/MSc in Petroleum Geology or Petroleum Geophysics.
Knowledge of core and log analysis, and Rock-Eval analysis.
Ability to perform source rock geochemical and maturation evaluation.
Knowledge of rock geomechanical analysis.
Knowledge of prospect risk and reserve analysis.
Knowledge of reserves estimate and classification
